Application Deadline - April 30, 2008

Charlie Wolff Memorial Educational Grants Program

These educational grants are given to individuals that had to overcome adversity that negatively affected their life. These young people are using these grants to further their education and/or for purchasing equipment needed for employment.

Each year we award these grants during the Ken-Ton Friends of Youth Shining Stars Awards Dinner honoring the late Charles Wolff.

 Elsie Jepson Educational Grant Award

 This award will be in the form of a grant up to $750.00, to provide financial assistance to an individual who is either classified by the Committee on Special Education and who is going on to further their education, or individuals who are going to school for Special Education training.

 Rob Filippone Career / Tech Award

 The purpose of this educational grant is to give financial assistance to individuals entered with a Career / Tech Program. This educational award may be used for tuition, fees, supplies to continue your education, uniforms etc. The amount of this award will be $750.00 based on the committee's recommendation.

 Community Asset Mini Grant Program

 The Ken-Ton Friends of Youth Foundation offers matching grants of up to $1,000.00 to local groups and organizations that provide leadership and resources to address challenges and opportunities for the youth in the Ken-Ton community. Since 1979 the Foundation has given away over $50,000. in Community Asset Mini Grants.
